Philosophy of Coaching
MY MISSION AS AN INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST IS TO
EMPOWER AND INSPIRE TEACHERS WITH THE RESOURCES, TOOLS AND IDEAS THEY NEED TO ENSURE THE SUCCESS OF OUR STUDENTS. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY LISTENING TO TEACHER NEEDS AND CONCERNS, BUILDING TRUSTING AND LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIPS, MODELING LESSONS, FACILITATING PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES AND PROVIDING ENRICHING AND ENGAGING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Beginning a new science program starts with professional development that is consistent, engaging and takes into consideration the needs and abilities of each teacher on the team.

Using the unit planner to guide our discussions, pace out the unit and create lesson plans that meets the needs of all students.
